Policy, Proposal, and Alternative Activism in the End of Life
Since euthanasia is illegal, Thai policy is aimed at promoting end-of-life care options that maintain patient dignity without violating ethics. The key measures and proposals are as follows:
1. Advance Directives
Section 12 of the National Health Act 2007 is an important policy that gives people the right to determine their final decisions, aimed at providing a legal channel for "good death" without legalizing euthanasia.
