Begin anew 🍁

Happy November 1st!! I cannot believe it’s already November! I know people think of spring as the renewal season, for me it’s fall. Summer is rough, I’m not a fan of the heat. But fall makes me happy for sweaters and holidays!! And I know it’s crazy that SoCal fall comes in November…it’s actually still in the 80s here… so I’m hoping the cooler temps come in soon haha!! Thank you so much for watching!!

Unlike the traditional view of spring as the primary time for fresh starts, fall provides a cozy backdrop with its cooler air, colorful leaves, and festive holidays that inspire reflection and change. For many, including those living in Southern California, the transition to fall can be delayed with lingering warmth, making the anticipation for cooler temperatures even more special. This feeling of 'begin anew' resonates well with journaling, scrapbooking, and other creative outlets, which are great tools to document life’s changes and express gratitude. November, in particular, fosters a mindset of thankfulness and preparation for the year's end. Sweater weather symbolizes comfort and security, and holidays invite connection with loved ones, both of which provide perfect moments to pause and refresh. By embracing the fall season as a period of renewal, you can set new goals, enjoy seasonal activities, and nurture your well-being. Whether it’s through daily journaling to track personal progress or scrapbooking to capture memories, these practices contribute to a meaningful and mindful transition. So as the leaves turn and the days shorten, take the opportunity to welcome change and set intentions. Even if the temperatures remain warm for a while, let the spirit of ‘begin anew’ guide you towards a fulfilling and joyful autumn.
