Derm-approved routine for healthy, glossy hair

Been getting so many questions about my smooth + shiny hair lately ✨ so here’s my actual routine from start to finish 👇🏻

No miracle product here — it’s all about doing each step right💡😊

1. Cleanse with a gentle but effective shampoo + conditioner

2. Use an in-shower hair mask for softness + gloss (game changer)

3. Apply a lightweight smoothing cream to the ends on damp hair

4. Always use a heat protectant before blow drying

5. Fully dry your hair (this made the biggest difference for frizz!)

6. Brush only after drying for a smoother finish

7. Finish with a small amount of oil on the ends for extra shine

My hair feels stronger, softer, and way less frizzy since doing this consistently 🧡

If your hair has been feeling dry, frizzy, or dull, it might not be just the products. It could be the small habits too 💆🏻‍♀️

Curious which step you'd try first 👀👇🏻💬

I found that starting with a gentle but effective shampoo and conditioner, such as the Revita High-Performance Hair Density Shampoo and Conditioner, made a significant difference in scalp health without stripping natural oils. Adding an in-shower hair mask, like the Gisou Honey Gloss Ceramide Mask, worked wonders to increase softness and add a vibrant gloss to my strands. One key habit I embraced was always applying a lightweight smoothing cream focused on the ends while the hair was still damp. This helps seal moisture and minimize split ends. Equally important was never skipping a heat protectant before blow drying. Blow drying fully instead of leaving hair damp was a game changer for me in reducing frizz—the difference is noticeable, as damp hair is much more vulnerable to breakage and frizz. Another tip is to brush hair only once it’s completely dry; this results in a smoother finish and less hair breakage. To top it off, I apply a small amount of nourishing hair oil to the ends to lock in shine and protect against environmental damage. Brands like Kérastase offer resurfacing treatments that complement this routine beautifully. Consistency is key—by sticking to these steps regularly, my hair feels stronger, softer, and healthier overall. It’s important to note there’s no single miracle product; rather, it’s the careful attention to each step and those little habits that make a big difference. If your hair is struggling with dryness or frizz, consider evaluating your entire routine and daily habits, not just the products you use. Small tweaks such as thoroughly drying hair and protecting it from heat can lead to impressive improvements over time.
