Day 11:

An all around lazy day hanging out with my family while my husband recovers. Lots of baby cuddles. A movie night. Resting.

Day 12:

A productive morning. Ice cream with friends. A play date for my baby with a friend’s kid. Finishing the second Lockwood & Co. book. Getting my storygraph updated and my TBRs sorted. Coffee at a new-to-me place. A pretty epic $16 thrift store haul. Putting the baby to bed and having some time for just me and my husband.

After all, balancing responsibilities often leads to splendid discoveries like my $16 thrift store haul—a treasure hunt that yielded unexpected finds! As I tucked the baby in for the night, the evening turned to precious moments with my husband, reinforcing the joy of family. Whether it's simple pleasures or productive days, it's these experiences that bring happiness to our lives.
