They’re just preying on people for cash

Scroll through Lemon8 for 2 minutes, you’ll get hit with 10 ads about “Make $5k/month from home!” or “Remote job with no experience needed!” I fell for one last month, some “social media manager gig” that promised flexible hours.

I spent 3 days filling out their “application,” only to find out it cost $199 for a “training course” to even be considered. Another one? A “freelance writer job” that just had me copy-paste garbage content for $2 an hour, barely enough to buy a coffee.

Half these ads don’t even list real companies, just vague “work with us!” lines and stock photos of people “working” on laptops at the beach. It’s like they’re preying on people who want extra cash. I’m so tired of scrolling past this junk. If a side hustle sounds too good to be true on Lemon8, it probably is.
