Two vibes, one roof — chaos or magic
2 designers, 2 totally different styles, but 1 shared dream: a home that feels like us.
👨🏻 He’s all about dark woods, wabi-sabi calm, clean lines… plus his gamer cave (yes, RGB lights + consoles included 🎮).
👩🏻 I’m the vintage soul — quirky phones, cute clutters, and textures that tell stories.
Somehow, we’re blending it all: old souls meet new gadgets, vintage quirks meet modern calm.
It’s a little messy, a little zen, and honestly, so much fun 💛.

Designing a home together when both of us have such contrasting aesthetics has been a whirlwind experience. The plan we started with, a 4-room layout with unique challenges like unconventional spaces and technical hurdles, pushed us to be creative and flexible. For example, integrating his passion for dark woods and clean lines alongside my love for vintage and quirky objects meant we had to carefully consider every corner — balancing functionality with character. One of my favorite parts has been creating cozy spots that tell stories through textures and old-fashioned elements, while he developed his ultimate gamer cave complete with RGB lights and consoles, making sure our personal needs coexist beautifully. Despite the occasional clash over color choices and furniture styles, these differences spark lively debates that ultimately help us refine the home's personality. If you're merging different design vibes in your own space, my advice is to embrace the messiness and find joy in small wins. Share your journey openly on platforms like Instagram, where connecting with interior design communities (#InteriorJourney, #interiorsg) provides inspiration and support. Remember, a home isn’t just about perfect harmony but about the magic created when diverse dreams collide and blend.
