APARTMENT TOURRRRR!
Sharing my experience with apartment hopping and staying in Airbnbs for the first time has been quite an adventure, especially starting in a vibrant city like Miami. One thing I quickly realized is how important it is to personalize the space even if the apartment comes empty, like the kitchen in this tour, which was stocked with absolutely nothing. I ended up bringing some essential kitchen items to make cooking comfortable, which really made the apartment feel like a home away from home. Living in a new apartment temporarily means adapting quickly, so I found setting up my belongings efficiently was crucial. For example, since the apartment didn't come with a dresser, I just kept my suitcase on the floor, which worked fine for short stays but might be tricky for longer ones. Another highlight for me was the lighting in the bedroom—good lighting makes a huge difference for both comfort and mood. The king-sized bed was surprisingly spacious, sometimes feeling too big, but it definitely ensured a good night's rest after busy days exploring Miami. The living room setup, although not in a giant house, felt cozy and inviting. Turning on ambient lights or music helped to make the space relaxing. Plus, enjoying the city views from the apartment added a special touch to my stay. If you're considering Airbnb hopping like me, it's helpful to plan your shopping for essentials right after arriving since many places come unfurnished or unstocked. Also, having a flexible mindset and embracing the temporary nature of each place allows you to enjoy your experience fully. Miami, with its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful views, has been a fantastic starting point on this journey.
