Jochi-ji Temple stands in the back of Kita-Kamakura.

I especially like this temple in Kita-Kamakura.

The principal image is the third generation Buddha of Amida Nyorai, Shaka Nyorai, and Miroku Nyorai. It seems that it is a grateful Buddha that listens to people's wishes over the past, present world, and future three generations respectively.

This temple, which has a long history as the fourth largest of the five mountains of Kamakura, becomes even more attractive during the autumn leaves season. There are many people at this time, but I was looking forward to this season.

Moss spreads faintly on the stone steps leading to the temple gate, and autumn-colored trees gently cast shadows. As you walk through the precincts, soft light shining from between the trees illuminates the quiet building.

It's not flashy, but it's a dignified autumn time that suddenly makes your heart feel ready.

Even in crowded Kamakura, it is recommended as a place to enjoy autumn leaves calmly 🍁
