WIP Wednesday!

Working on multiple writing projects simultaneously can be both exciting and challenging. It encourages deep character development and exploring complex emotions, which greatly enriches the story. On the other hand, diving into a fantasy series can open up endless possibilities. Planning is crucial here, especially when you’re aiming to fit a vast world and intricate plotlines into a limited number of books, such as a trilogy. Sometimes, the richness of your world-building and character arcs might demand more space than originally intended. I found that freeing myself from strict initial plans allowed the story to breathe and evolve organically, resulting in a more immersive experience for readers. Combining efforts on both genres simultaneously provides variety but also requires good time management and organizational skills. Creating outlines, note-taking, and prioritizing scenes help maintain clarity and momentum. Engaging with communities like #WIPWednesday and #IndieAuthor can offer support and motivation throughout the writing process. Ultimately, embracing the challenges and joys in these creative journeys enhances not only the stories but also the author's growth.
