Othala (Othel, Othil, Othila, Othalu, Othal, Ural, Ethel) is the Elder Futhark Rune of inheritance, heritage, lineage and ancestral property. It is a Rune of the realm of Miðgarðr (Midgard "Earth"). Despite the misinformation that this is the Rune of Óðinn, it is not as that Rune is Ansuz.
