A great spot for generous portions and beautifully crafted desserts, though the long queue reflects just how popular it is. Worth visiting if you’re planning to share and enjoy a relaxing dessert break. 🍰✨

We ordered a lunch set with an additional crepe cake and drink on the side. The portions were surprisingly large, more than enough for two people to share. However, be prepared for a wait. Despite arriving just before opening time, there was already a long queue and we had to wait for about 1.5 hours to enter.
What we ordered:
1. Chicken & Mushroom in Tomato Cream Sauce
A classic pasta done well. The plate came with generous chunks of chicken and an impressively large portion of pasta. We were genuinely surprised by the serving size and were glad we shared the lunch set. If you have a smaller appetite, sharing is definitely recommended.
2. Mille Crepe
Light, delicate layers with fresh fruit and a not-too-sweet cream. Perfect for those who prefer desserts that aren’t overly rich or cloying. Honestly, I could have finished the entire slice on my own 🤭
3. Marron Chocolate Tarte
I expected it to be overly sweet, but it turned out to be well-balanced. The chocolate pairs nicely with the light cream, and the chestnut flavour adds a subtle depth.
4. Royal Milk Tea
The tea itself was rich and fragrant, but not very sweet, so we had to add some sugar to our taste. It paired nicely with the desserts!

Having visited HARBS myself, I can say the experience is truly worth the wait. When you arrive early, be prepared to join a long queue, especially on weekends or holidays, as their cakes and lunch sets are in high demand. The Mille Crepe, priced around ¥1,150, stands out for its delicate, layered texture combined with fresh fruit and a lightly sweetened cream that feels refreshing rather than heavy. It’s a perfect dessert for those who prefer something not overly rich but still indulgent. Besides the Mille Crepe, HARBS offers other tempting options like the Baked Cheesecake and Banana Cream Pie, which showcase high-quality ingredients and careful craftsmanship. The Marron Chocolate Tarte provides a sophisticated blend of chocolate and chestnut that balances sweetness with subtle flavors, making each bite satisfying. To complement the desserts, the Royal Milk Tea is a great choice—rich and fragrant yet unsweetened by default, allowing you to customize the sweetness to your liking with sugar. This pairing enhances the overall tasting experience and softens the palate between bites. The generous portion sizes mean sharing with a friend is advisable, not only to savor a variety of dishes but also to avoid food waste. HARBS' atmosphere encourages relaxation, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely afternoon. Keep in mind the prices are mid-range, symbolizing quality over bargain deals. If you’re planning to visit, consider arriving just before opening and prepare for a patient wait, as the queue truly reflects HARBS’ popularity and the exceptional quality of their cakes and savory offerings.
