I loved exploring the small shops, sipping tea in hidden cafes, and just watching daily life unfold. It's a perfect place to find unique souvenirs and taste delicious local snacks. And then there's the majestic Cangshan Mountain, towering over the city and Erhai Lake. Its presence adds to the dramatic scenery of Dali. While I didn't get to do a full hike this time, the views from the cable car were absolutely spectacular, offering panoramic vistas of the lake and the entire valley.
