15 minute Creamy Spicy Buldak Udon!
This is definitely one of those dishes I make once in a while when I am just craving decadent food. It is so delicious and it literally took me 15 minutes to make. I never use up a whole packet of Buldak sauce for the ramen, so I save the packet for other recipes, like this one. These are the ingredients I used:
Udon noodles
Minced garlic
Diced onions
Butter
Salt and pepper
Seafood mushrooms
Milk
Alfredo sauce
Buldak hot sauce
Cheese, green onions, seaweed, Furikake to top
Instructions:
1. Pour boiled water over a pack of frozen udon noodles. Once the udon noodles separate drain them.
2. Sauté garlic and onion with a little bit of butter. Add the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until the mushrooms are browned.
3. Add in the milk, Alfredo sauce, and Buldak hot sauce and mix. Add in the udon noodles and combine.
4. Top with cheese and let that melt.
5. Garnish with green onions, seaweed, furikake and enjoy!

Okay, let's be real, sometimes you just NEED that ultimate comfort food fix, and nothing hits quite like a bowl of creamy, spicy noodles. My 15-minute Buldak udon isn't just a recipe; it's a lifesaver for those busy weeknights or when I'm craving something truly decadent for a 'Single serve dinner'. I mean, who has hours to cook after a long day? This recipe lets me indulge without the guilt of ordering takeout. You might be wondering, what makes Buldak so special? It's that iconic Korean fire noodle sauce, known for its intense heat. But when you marry that fiery kick with rich, creamy Alfredo sauce and melted cheese, it transforms into something absolutely magical. It’s the perfect balance of savory, spicy, and unbelievably satisfying. It feels like a gourmet meal, but it’s shockingly simple to make. Trust me, once you try this creamy spicy Korean udon, you'll be hooked! Now, let's talk about making this dish truly *yours*. One of the best things about this creamy spicy udon bowl is how versatile it is. If you're sensitive to heat, don't worry! You can easily adjust the spice level by using less Buldak hot sauce or adding a touch more milk or cream cheese to mellow it out. For those who love an extra kick, a drizzle of chili oil at the end works wonders. Want to add some protein? I often throw in some leftover shredded chicken, sautéed shrimp, or even a fried egg on top for an extra boost. For veggies, spinach wilts beautifully into the sauce, or you could add some diced bell peppers or snap peas for crunch and freshness. And cheese? While I love a good slice of American cheese or mozzarella melting into the sauce, sometimes I sprinkle some grated Parmesan for an extra savory depth. If you don't have udon noodles on hand, don't despair! This creamy spicy Korean sauce works fantastically with other noodles too. I've personally tried it with ramen (carbonara style, yum!), spaghetti, or even fettuccine for a truly unique 'spicy creamy Korean pasta bowl' experience. The key is that rich, clingy sauce. Boiling your noodles perfectly is crucial – al dente is always best for a satisfying chew. To make this 'Single serve dinner' even faster, I often prep my garlic and onions in advance. You can also have your Buldak sauce portioned out. The beauty of this recipe is its adaptability; it truly fits into any schedule. It's hearty enough to be a full meal on its own, but sometimes I'll serve it with a side of quick kimchi or some pickled radishes to cut through the richness. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience. Give it a try, and you'll see why it's become a staple in my quick recipe arsenal!
