I recently experimented with adapting my go-to Pillsbury cinnamon roll hack to create a peach cobbler version, and wow, it was a huge hit! It's still incredibly simple, making it perfect for a weekend breakfast or a special dessert without all the fuss. Imagine that gooey, spiced peach filling nestled inside soft, warm cinnamon rolls, all topped with a luscious cream cheese frosting. It’s like a hug in a bite! Here’s how I quickly whipped up my batch. First, I started with a can of Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls – because why make life harder? While the rolls were still in their packaging, I got my peach filling ready. I used one can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup, drained really well and roughly chopped. Into a small bowl, I mixed the peaches with about 1/4 cup of brown sugar, a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and a tiny splash of vanilla extract. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of cornstarch if I want a thicker filling, but it’s optional. Now for the fun part! I unrolled each cinnamon roll dough sheet carefully. Instead of just rolling it out flat, I gently stretched it a bit to create a larger surface. Then, I spread a thin layer of the peach mixture over the dough, leaving a small border at one end. Once the peaches were distributed, I rolled the dough back up tightly and sliced it into individual rolls, just like usual.
