How to find a simple early / end of the month date on Excel 💼

⏰ if we want to find the beginning-end of the day, we can use the EOMONTH formula.
-If you want to find the end of the month, put the formula = EOMONTH (Day 0)
- To find the date of the beginning of the month, put the formula = EOMONTH (Date, -1) + 1
🤔, friends may wonder what the after-comma number we put after the date is actually the number of months that count forward. If it is negative 1, it means that it counts down to 1 month. So we will see that when we find the end of the month, put 0 because the EOMONTH formula will automatically find the end of the month. But the formula for the beginning of the month, we will have to go back 1 month and add it back to 1, which is the number of days. 🥳

หลายคนอาจสงสัยว่าทำไมต้องใช้สูตร EOMONTH ในการหาวันต้นเดือนและสิ้นเดือนใน Excel ซึ่งจริงๆ แล้วสูตรนี้ถูกออกแบบมาให้หาวันสุดท้ายของเดือนนั้นได้ง่ายๆ โดยที่เราสามารถปรับจำนวนเดือนที่ต้องการด้วยค่าตัวเลขในสูตร เพื่อย้อนไปหรือเดินหน้าเดือนต่อไปได้อย่างยืดหยุ่น เมื่อลองใช้สูตร =EOMONTH(วันที่,0) จะได้วันสิ้นเดือนของเดือนไปใส่ในเซลล์โดยตรง ส่วนสูตร =EOMONTH(วันที่,-1)+1 นั้นจะช่วยหาวันที่ 1 ของเดือนเดียวกันโดยการย้อนไป 1 เดือนก่อน แล้วบวก 1 วันเข้าไป ทำให้เราได้วันแรกของเดือนนั้นทันที จากภาพตัวอย่างที่มีวันที่ 10/12/2025 เมื่อนำสูตรนี้ไปใช้จะได้ผลลัพธ์คือ 01/12/2025 สำหรับวันต้นเดือน และ 31/12/2025 สำหรับวันสิ้นเดือน สะดวกมากสำหรับการทำปฏิทิน การจัดการงบประมาณ หรือการวางแผนงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวันสำคัญต่างๆ หากใครยังไม่คุ้นเคย ลองสร้างแถวของวันที่ใน Excel และใช้สูตรนี้ประกอบเพื่อดูผลลัพธ์จริง จะช่วยให้เข้าใจอย่างลึกซึ้งและสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในงานต่างๆ ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถรวมสูตรนี้กับฟังก์ชันอื่นๆ เพื่อประโยชน์ที่หลากหลายขึ้น เช่น การคำนวณระยะเวลาระหว่างวันต้นเดือนถึงวันสิ้นเดือน หรือการสรุปข้อมูลรายเดือนที่ต้องการความแม่นยำสายงานบัญชีและธุรกิจ
