Rate what I’ve crocheted (when I first started)
Hey everyone I started crocheting May 26, 2024, these are some of my projects that I’ve first crocheted. Ive gotten wayyyy better now. However, I know I won’t be wearing or selling these so I plan to give these to the homeless since it’s getting cold. I know they’ll keep someone warm.

Crochet is a fantastic way to unleash your creativity while providing warmth and comfort to those in need. Many beginners might find their early projects less than perfect, but each creation is a stepping stone towards mastery. When starting crochet, it’s normal to encounter various challenges, like incorrect sizing or loose stitches, as highlighted in my ratings of these beginner pieces. For instance, I rated one of my beanies 6/10 due to closure issues, and a hat received a 2/10 because of its unfortunate size and fit. These experiences encourage improvement and learning, crucial elements in the craft. Donating handmade items like beanies or blankets to homeless shelters is an excellent way to give back to the community. Not only do your efforts provide warmth, but they also bring joy to those in need. If you’re looking to start crocheting or wish to enhance your skills, consider joining local crafting groups or online communities. Sharing tips, tutorials, and encouragement can greatly enhance your learning experience. Plus, don’t forget to document your work! Sharing your progress on social platforms like Instagram or dedicated crafting forums can attract advice, support, and appreciation from fellow crafters. Let’s keep spreading warmth and creativity, one stitch at a time!
