definitely giving shego vibes i loved creating this look🫶🏾 #Lemon8Diary #skunkstripe #blackgirllemon8
Hey Lemon8 fam! So many of you have been asking about my latest look, and I'm so excited to spill all the tea on how I achieved these iconic Shego vibes. This aesthetic is all about confidence and a touch of edgy glamour, and it's surprisingly fun to put together! First up, let's talk about the hair. The signature black and bright green wavy hair, often called a 'skunk stripe,' is absolutely crucial for channeling Shego. For this look, I opted for a temporary green dye on a section of my hair, which really made the vibrant green pop against my natural black hair. If you're not ready for a permanent commitment, you could try clip-in extensions or even a high-quality wig to get that perfect 'shego green hair' effect. When choosing your green, think about whether you want a neon, emerald, or more muted tone to best match your desired 'shego aesthetic.' Remember to condition well to keep those vibrant colors looking fresh! I've found that using a color-safe shampoo and conditioner really makes a difference in maintaining the brightness of the green, especially if you go for a semi-permanent dye. Now, for the dazzling part: the makeup! My goal was to create a bold 'shego makeup' look that still felt wearable. I started with a strong winged eyeliner, using a liquid liner for precision, then packed on a gorgeous green glittery eye makeup shade on my lids. The key is to use a glitter primer or a sticky base to really make it adhere and minimize fallout throughout the day. Don't be afraid to go a little dramatic with the glitter – it’s what gives it that comic-book villainess edge! For a more 'subtle green makeup' approach, you could use a matte green eyeshadow as a liner or just a pop of green in the inner corner of your eyes. I finished off my eyes with a generous coat of mascara and some wispy false lashes for that extra dramatic flair. To complete the face, I kept my base flawless with a medium-coverage foundation and a touch of contour, and added a nude lip to let the eyes truly shine. But 'Shego vibes' aren't just about hair and makeup; it's about the whole 'grunge baddie shego aesthetic'! Think black clothing, perhaps some cargo pants or a fitted top, and maybe even a cool accessory like a choker or a bold necklace, similar to the gold initial necklace I'm wearing in my photos. Styling your outfit with oversized jackets or ripped denim can also amplify that edgy feel. It’s about embodying that cool, confident attitude that Shego is known for, making it perfect for a fun night out, a cosplay event, or even just when you're feeling a little extra on a casual day. I just loved how this look came together, making me feel super empowered and ready to take on the day (or save the world, villain-style!). It’s such a fun way to experiment with color and express your inner baddie. What are your favorite elements of the Shego aesthetic? Let me know if you try this out!
