Too pretty to be played by a DUSTY 🦠

We all been there in one way or another! Craving intimacy, love, appreciation. Or in my case to be SEEN. At the end of the day if you can’t give to yourself the same thing you seek from other it will turn from a “want” to a “NEED” and the LAST thing we should ever want if to NEED in this day and age without first… security, trust, patience + .. from that person. #adviceforwomen #embracevulnerability #datingadvice101 #blackgirllemon8 #ex

... Read moreWe've all been there, haven't we? Craving that deep intimacy, love, and appreciation, sometimes so much that it feels like a need rather than a want. I remember a time when I put so much energy into relationships, hoping to be seen, to be cherished, only to realize I was constantly being shortchanged. It took me a while to understand that the most valuable lesson comes from within. If you can't give yourself the security, trust, and patience you seek from others, it creates a void that no one else can truly fill. That's when you start to fall into traps, like believing a man will change, or overlooking glaring red flags because you're hoping for a different outcome. Trust me on this, honey, once a cheater, always a cheater. It's a hard pill to swallow, but I've learned that if a man wants to be loyal, he will be loyal, regardless of his surroundings or social media. Cheating is always a choice, and holding onto the hope that 'this time he will change' only leads to more heartache. Another big one? Watch out for the insecure ones. They're the masters of devaluing, belittling, and criticizing you, often disguised as sarcasm. Their goal is to pull you down to their level so you won't outshine them. I've been there, letting little comments chip away at my confidence, only to realize later that it was never about me, but their own insecurities. Your energy is precious, and the wrong man will make you feel ugly because they drain it. And let's talk about ghosting. If he ghosts you, please, for the love of yourself, YOU DON'T get him back. Leave him immediately. Ghosting is one of the most disrespectful things someone can do, showing a complete lack of basic respect. If he can't show you that, how can a relationship possibly last? Close the doors to your life and don't look back. Many of us, myself included, fall into the 'I-can-heal-a-man' mentality. We think we're partners, not therapists or saviors. It's not your responsibility to fix him if he's unwilling to work on his issues. You can't create a strong, intimate relationship with someone who's running away from unhealed parts of themselves. Men don't date for potential; they date for what they see. If he's not willing to put in the work, you're not his mom or his therapist. For the sake of your mental health, always take mixed signals and immature behavior as a NO. A man subconsciously categorizes women based on how she carries herself. He's assessing whether you're the 'hard to get' girl, the 'dream' girl, or the 'good time' girl. This is why setting your boundaries early is crucial. A man's reaction will reveal his true intentions. Don't over-invest in someone who hasn't earned your trust. And please, NEVER TRUST ONLY WORDS. Actions always speak louder. My ultimate takeaway? When a man is truly interested, you won't need to chase him. Men are hunters by nature. If they aren't pursuing you, you aren't what they want. It’s as simple as that. Embrace your worth, set clear boundaries, and trust your intuition. You deserve a love that doesn't make you question your value.
