✨Soft Starts. Real Shifts

Eight weeks.

Fitness. Focus. Faith.

That’s what I thought I was committing to.

But what really happened?

God brought me back and took me deeper. This time didn’t just stretch me — it woke something up in me I was trying to silence: a deeper desire, a buried hope, a part of me I thought I had to let go of to protect myself.

This wasn’t just a physical reset.

It became a test of my discernment.

A test of my heart.

A test of my boundaries.

A test of my faith.

A mental detox.

An emotional mirror.

A spiritual checkpoint.

Choosing God and walking in purpose isn’t an easy route.

Healing isn’t romantic. It’s a stretch. A surrender.

With healing come tests.

With tests come truths.

And with truths come decisions.

Decisions to let go.

To obey even when it hurts.

To stay faithful even when the outcome isn’t what you prayed for.

This journey didn’t require perfection.

It required honesty.

And a willingness to trust God with the parts of me I was still trying to protect.

Healing is sacred.

Silence is strategy.

God is still guiding me — even when the proof is more believable than the promise

Some days, I didn’t move my body

Because I had to sit in stillness

To reflect, process, and release

I didn’t need a new routine.

I needed to return to myself.

To get back to purpose.

And that’s where the real shift happened.

Soft starts can be powerful catalysts for change, allowing us to reset both physically and spiritually. These beginnings are crucial; they provide the space for reflection and the opportunity to align ourselves with our true purpose. Engaging in activities such as journaling, mindful movement, and spiritual studies can aid in fostering deeper connections with ourselves and with God. Exploring techniques like clean eating and journaling without distractions plays a vital role in this process. Journaling serves as an emotional outlet, while clean eating fuels the body for better physical and mental health. Additionally, having focused study sessions from the Bible allows for deeper understanding and strength during challenging times. It's not just about physical fitness; it’s about nurturing the mind and spirit as well. The journey is unique for everyone, and acknowledging that you’re not behind in your process is important. Instead, recognize that you are becoming something greater with each passing day. Embrace your journey; whether it’s spending silent moments in reflection or seeking deeper understanding through faith, every step taken is significant. As you navigate this journey, remember that healing isn't linear and often requires patience and surrender to the process. Soft starts lead to genuine shifts, facilitating alignment with your true self and purpose. Celebrate each small victory and stay connected to those around you who understand and support your journey.
