1. WALK AWAY…listen for the cues in your body…the twinge in your chest, the signaling that you’re about to explode all over your kiddo arguing about their math work, and WALK AWAY…give yourself SPACE from the circumstances causing the stress. Breathe.
2. SCREAM IN A PILLOW…this sounds intense but a lot of times when we want to scream at our kids it’s just energy that needs to be moved out and screaming into a pillow or doing a sacred rage session can clear it out and make you feel better.
3. HUG…After you do one or both of these a good hug it out session with your kiddo helps with heart coherence and serotonin levels and also just reminder of what’s truly important.
