Some of my sculptures
I am wanting to get back to making my artwork this year. I’ve been really focused on my health and improving my career for the past 5 years, but I miss doing art shows.
These are some of the sculptures I made with air dry clay and epoxy. I used acrylic paint to bring them to life.
Returning to the world of sculpture can be a deeply fulfilling experience for artists. Using materials like air dry clay and epoxy allows for both experimentation and creativity. These mediums are not only accessible but also versatile, enabling artists to create diverse forms and textures. Acrylic paint serves as an excellent choice for finishing sculptures, offering vibrant colors and a durable finish. Many artists find inspiration in nature, their surroundings, or personal experiences, leading to unique sculptures that resonate with viewers. It's essential to engage with the community through art shows, as they provide valuable feedback and opportunities for connection. Additionally, the rise of social media platforms allows artists to share their work with broader audiences, fostering an interactive community of appreciates. Understanding trends in sculpture can also help artists innovate, incorporating contemporary styles or themes that attract more attention. Whether through workshops or local exhibitions, getting involved in the art scene can greatly enhance an artist's journey and reignite their passion for creating.
