Shows I banned my kids from watching
"Some shows aren’t for kids—they’re for testing parents’ patience 😂
You know those ones that are loud, fast, chaotic, and somehow make your toddler act like they just had 5 shots of espresso? Yeah… those.
So here’s my official “no thanks” list 👇
🚫 Peppa Pig (sass levels unmatched)
🚫 Cocomelon (too many jump cuts, my brain hurts)
🚫 Little Angel
🚫 Blippy (why is he yelling??)
🚫 Camilou
Not judging anyone, but if a show turns my kid into a mini drama queen, it’s getting the boot.
My house, my peace ✌️
What shows are on your banned list? Drop them below—let’s trauma bond a little 😂

Many parents struggle with finding the right children's programs that entertain without causing overstimulation or behavioral issues. Shows like Blippi and Caillou have often been criticized for promoting poor behavior in kids—such as throwing tantrums or lacking empathy—as highlighted in recent reviews and parent discussions. Blippi’s loud tone and constant yelling can be particularly overwhelming for sensitive toddlers, leading to irritability and hyperactivity. Similarly, Caillou has been noted for modeling bratty behavior and tantrums, which some parents find problematic when their children imitate what they see on screen. While Peppa Pig is beloved for its humor and quirky characters, its high sass levels can sometimes encourage cheeky attitudes in little ones, which not every parent appreciates. Cocomelon’s rapid jump cuts and fast scenes can overload a child's sensory input, resulting in difficulty settling down or focusing. It's important to recognize that children’s media consumption directly impacts their mood, attention span, and social skills. Limiting exposure to overstimulating content can help maintain a peaceful home environment and promote healthier behaviors. Parents are encouraged to watch shows alongside their kids, discuss the content, and choose programming that instills positive values and calm engagement. Every child is different, so what works for one family might not suit another. Sharing your own “banned list” of shows can create a supportive community where parents learn from each other’s experiences. Setting boundaries around screen time and content ultimately helps in fostering a balanced and happy childhood.

SpongeBob is on my list.SpongeBob has a great deal of sexual innuendos in it and that should never be in a kids cartoon.
