Hey fellow Final Fantasy fans! Welcome back to my collection tour, this is part 4 (final fantasy) of me showing off my collection! Today, I want to dive a bit deeper into one of the gems: Final Fantasy X. While I love displaying my physical copies and figures, the real magic is in revisiting these worlds. And for FF10, one of the most engaging aspects has always been its incredible customization options. It's what makes the game feel like a new experience every time I replay it, even after all these years. When we talk about FF10 customization, the first thing that comes to mind is the Sphere Grid. Oh, the Sphere Grid! It’s such a brilliant system. I remember spending hours planning out each character's path. Do I make Yuna a physical powerhouse? Or turn Wakka into a black magic specialist? The freedom is amazing. Personally, I love taking Tidus down a hybrid path, giving him some essential healing spells in addition to his speedy attacks. And for Lulu, I often push her towards some high-tier white magic later on, just for fun! It's these little tweaks that make my playthroughs unique. But it’s not just the main party that gets all the customization fun. Our loyal Aeons can be customized too! Teaching them new abilities and boosting their stats is incredibly satisfying. An Ifrit with Auto-Phoenix? Yes, please! Or a Shiva that can cast Hastega? Absolutely. Maxing out their compatibility is a must for any serious player in my collection. It adds another layer of strategy, especially when facing some of those tougher optional bosses. Then there's the equipment customization. Crafting ultimate weapons with Break Damage Limit or Ribbon armor is a grind, but totally worth it. The feeling of finally equipping celestial weapons for my favorite characters like Auron, Rikku, or even Cloud Strife (from FF7, also a huge part of my collection!) is unmatched. And let’s not forget about Overdrives! Mastering everyone's Overdrive method and timing them perfectly in battle adds a huge strategic element. From Wakka's reels to Tidus's blitz ace, nailing those critical moments is so rewarding. For me, these deep customization systems are what make games like FF10 so iconic and a cherished part of my Final Fantasy collection. It’s not just about owning the game; it’s about the countless hours of exploration, strategy, and personal triumph that come with it. It’s about building my ultimate party, my way. It truly enhances the replayability and makes each game feel truly personal. It’s a huge part of why I keep showing off my collection! So, what are your must-have customization tricks for Final Fantasy X? Did you have a favorite Sphere Grid build or a go-to Aeon ability setup? Share your insights and let’s talk about how you make your FF10 playthroughs special!
