“Let it be” in FEWK’s Early Year 2026 collection

There is a part in the fashion world that favors youth and perfection, and there is another that favors something different.
In FEWK’s “Early Year 2026” collection, he brings the elements of decay and flaws into his design. With rose, a widely known symbol for love, as the center element, FEWK’s latest collection for the year 2026 narrates the story of disappointment, grief, and acceptance. Through the study of its visual transformation through time, the states of faded, rotted, and dried are translated on the material, texture, and form, with the use of fabric manipulation techniques such as sun dyeing, tea-dyeing, and acid wash.
Apart from FEWK’s, the exhibition also features photos by Leo Tanapon, perfume by BLANCHAMBRE, flower installation by Naraphat Sakarthornsap, and poetry by Jessada Chan-yaem. Each interprets and conveys their own stories, going together in unity with the collection, giving an interesting move through incorporating and balancing the aspects of art and product.

ในฐานะคนที่สนใจแฟชั่นและการออกแบบ ผมรู้สึกว่า FEWK ได้นำเสนอความงามในแง่มุมที่ต่างออกไปและโดดเด่นอย่างแท้จริงในคอลเลกชัน Early Year 2026 นี้ ความคิดที่จะนำความเปลี่ยนแปลงของกุหลาบซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความรัก ผ่านสถานะที่ซีดจาง, เน่าเปื่อย และแห้งกรัง ทำให้เห็นถึงความไม่ยั่งยืนและการยอมรับในความเปลี่ยนแปลงของชีวิตได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง เทคนิคการย้อมผ้าด้วยแสงแดด, ชา และกรด ที่ถูกใช้ในการออกแบบ ช่วยสร้างมิติและความรู้สึกที่แตกต่างในเนื้อผ้า เหมือนกับว่าผลงานแต่ละชิ้นนั้นมีเรื่องราวของมันเอง และไม่ใช่แค่เสื้อผ้าธรรมดาทั่วไป นอกจากนี้ การจัดแสดงที่รวมทั้งภาพถ่าย, น้ำหอม, การจัดดอกไม้ และบทกวี ก็ทำให้นิทรรศการนี้กลายเป็นการเชื่อมโยงศิลปะหลายแขนงเข้าด้วยกันอย่างลงตัว จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การได้สำรวจแฟชั่นที่มีการเล่าเรื่องผ่านวัสดุและรูปแบบเช่นนี้ ทำให้ผมเข้าใจได้ว่าศิลปะไม่ได้จำกัดเพียงความงดงามที่สมบูรณ์แบบ แต่รวมถึงความงามในความไม่สมบูรณ์ และความจริงในธรรมชาติของการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วย นี่คือการออกแบบที่ทำให้เราต้องหยุดคิดและสัมผัสถึงความหมายลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นของเวลาและชีวิต
