Visiting the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor offers a truly immersive experience with Oregon’s rugged coastline. On my recent trip, I was amazed by the unique natural formations, especially the iconic natural bridges formed by years of erosion. These scenic landmarks offer fantastic photo opportunities and spots for quiet reflection. One of the highlights is Secret Beach, a hidden gem accessible by a moderately challenging trail that rewards visitors with pristine sands and turquoise waters that contrast beautifully with the rocky shoreline. It feels like a private paradise, making it an ideal spot for picnics or simply relaxing while listening to the ocean waves. Hiking through this 12-mile corridor, I encountered several viewpoints offering panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean, perfect for nature lovers and photographers alike. The corridor is also part of the larger Oregon Coast, known as "The Beaver State’s" jewel, where coastal forests meet dramatic cliffs and beaches. For anyone planning a visit, I recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes and bringing a camera to capture the breathtaking landscapes.
