Pickle themed birthday!
The theme for this coworker’s birthday was picked MONTHS ago! If we get lunch from a drug rep and they have pickles as a side, she’s the one sending a message in the group chat asking for anyone’s unwanted pickles.
I’ll be honest I wasn’t 100% sure how I was going to execute this one besides using a bunch of green. I’ve learned to trust the process by layering different tones, textures and topping it off with tissue paper. There were a few pickle themed birthday decoration bundles on Amazon, but ultimately this one came with so many items and was fairly priced. I never end up using the cupcake toppers for cupcakes, but instead turn them into decorations I can hang from the ceiling or put in the bare spots once everything is pretty much set up.
Her birthday basket was made of pickled flavored snacks (obviously) and some cute green and pickle themed items. The tumbler I got was the perfect size for her favorite morning pick-me-up, Alani! Don’t get me wrong I love the bright colored designs Alani uses on their cans, but her current favorite flavors didn’t match the aesthetic. So I wrapped those in holographic and green tissue paper, which actually made them look like little pickles. All of her gifts ended up working perfectly and she loved them all!
