But from my recent experience, I realized that breaking down the session into smaller parts helps a lot. For example, my gym day included an intense upper body circuit at the Hoist machines, which I found surprisingly challenging even though I was questioning why I was there at first. To switch things up, I also did a 30-minute walk on an incline set to 10, which made a big difference in keeping my cardio interesting. At a speed of 2.5, this incline walk became a favorite part of my routine, as it felt productive but manageable. After my workout, I spent 20 minutes in the sauna, which was incredibly relaxing and helped my muscles recover. What helped me most was accepting that I don’t have to love every moment at the gym but that pushing through those feelings usually leads to feeling accomplished afterward. Even if you hate gym days like me, try incorporating different activities like circuits, incline walking, and sauna time — it makes the experience more enjoyable and keeps you coming back. Remember, consistency counts more than loving every workout!
