Making your own miniature snow globe is a surprisingly simple and fun DIY project that’s perfect for a cozy afternoon. All you need are a few supplies, and you'll have your own enchanting little world in a jar. Here’s how you can make your own DIY miniature snowglobe train: What You'll Need: A small, clean glass jar with a tight-fitting lid: Mason jars, baby food jars, or even spice jars work great. A miniature train figure: This could be a tiny toy train, a small LEGO train you already have, or even a picture laminated and cut out. Make sure it fits easily inside your jar and looks good from all angles. Distilled water: This prevents cloudiness and keeps your snow globe clear. Glycerin (or clear corn syrup): This is the secret ingredient! It helps the glitter and 'snow' fall slowly and gracefully. Glitter or artificial snow: Choose fine glitter in silver, white, or iridescent colors for a classic snow effect. You can also use tiny sequins or microbeads. Strong, waterproof adhesive: E6000 or marine epoxy works best to secure your train without it coming loose in the water. Step-by-Step Instructions: Prepare your train: Make sure your miniature train is clean and completely dry. If it's a LEGO creation, ensure all pieces are firmly attached. Turn your snow globe upside down and watch the beautiful snow fall around your miniature train. If the snow falls too fast, you can add a bit more glycerin (after carefully reopening and resealing).
