... Read moreWhen I first heard about Amorino, I was captivated by the idea of a rose-shaped gelato cone. It's not just a dessert; it's a little work of art! The skilled artisans at Amorino carefully sculpt each 'petal' using a special spatula, layering your chosen flavors to create that stunning bloom. It’s truly pure happiness watching them craft it right before your eyes, almost like a florist arranging a bouquet, but with delicious gelato! This meticulous attention to detail is what transforms a simple scoop into something magical, making every bite feel extra special and adding to the allure of the rose shaped ice cream. Choosing your flavors for a rose-shaped creation can be an adventure in itself! While I adore my raspberry, vanilla, and cheesecake combo, don't be afraid to experiment with the vast array of options in their vibrant gelato display case. Think about complementary textures and tastes to make your rose truly unique. For example, a bright, tangy fruit sorbet like mango or passionfruit can beautifully offset a rich, creamy flavor like pistachio or hazelnut. If you’re a chocolate lover, combining a deep dark chocolate with a hint of coffee or even a refreshing mint can create an unexpected delight. The beauty of their colorful gelato display is that it sparks so much inspiration! I've seen friends create vibrant, multi-hued roses that are almost too pretty to eat, featuring shades from the deep pink of strawberry to the pale yellow of lemon, each 'petal' a different flavor. What makes Amorino truly stand out, beyond just the aesthetic, is their unwavering commitment to quality. They pride themselves on using natural, authentic ingredients, free from artificial colors or flavors. You can genuinely taste the difference! This dedication to natural goodness ensures that whether you pick a classic like vanilla, a refreshing sorbet, or even a unique rose flavored gelato, you're getting a pure, intense taste experience. This commitment to traditional Italian recipes and high-quality sourcing is what makes their gelato feel like a little piece of Europe, right here. For first-timers, don't rush the process! Take a moment to admire the beautiful and colorful gelato display case with its assorted flavors. The staff are usually very patient and happy to let you sample a few flavors if you're undecided – it's part of the Amorino experience. And seriously, don't skip the macaron topping! It's an extra touch of indulgence that perfectly complements the creamy gelato. I always opt for a raspberry macaron to match my pink scoop, but there are other fantastic options too, adding another layer of texture and taste. While the price might seem a bit higher at $8-$10 compared to a regular scoop, you're paying for an experience, the artistry, and the superior quality of ingredients. It's truly a treat that feels worth every penny, transforming a simple ice cream run into a memorable, visually stunning, and utterly delicious moment. It’s much more than just an 'ice cream rose shape'; it’s a complete sensory delight!

That looks like a very interesting flavor and I would definitely try that out and I like that it has the macaroon on top. In Mexico, they also have really interesting flavors as well as when I went to Egypt and Italy.
