📍Location: Unregular Bakery

⭐️ Overall staff rating: 10/10

💵 Price : $6 (1 Donut)

When you have dietary restrictions and can’t indulge in regular donuts, it’s such a treat to discover a bakery that offers both vegan and gluten free options.

That’s exactly what I found at Unregular Bakery ! Not only do they cater to special diets, but their staff is also friendly and patient, guiding you through your choices with a smile.

I tried the Orange Blossom Pistachio Donut, and it was delicious! The dough was light, fluffy, and absolutely melt in your mouth. The pistachio cream fill is perfect. It added just the right balance of sweetness and nuttiness to the donut. Honestly, there was so much of it that I couldn’t help but lick my plate clean when it dripped out! 😅

The little pearls of orange blossom added a bright, citrusy flavor.

Next, I had the Rose Patel Croissant, it has a unique flavor experience! The croissant had a rich, buttery base, and the rose flavor was delicate yet aromatic, giving it a lovely floral sweetness that was not overpowering.

What’s even better? This gem of a bakery is conveniently located near Union Square, with plenty of seating to make it a great spot to relax and enjoy your treats.

The colorful, visually appealing pastries and their unique flavor combinations have definitely won me over. I can't wait to return and try more, Nutella flavors are definitely next on my list 🥰

... Read moreFinding an amazing vegan bakery in New York City is truly a game-changer, especially when you have dietary preferences or just want to explore delicious plant-based treats. My recent visit to Unregular Bakery near Union Square really solidified its spot as a must-visit. Beyond the incredible Orange Blossom Pistachio Donut and the delicate Rose Petal Croissant I raved about, this place is a treasure trove of innovative vegan baking. What truly makes a vegan bakery stand out in a bustling city like NYC? For me, it's the variety, the dedication to flavor, and the sheer joy of discovery. I always look for a place that goes beyond just 'veganizing' a classic; I want something that truly shines on its own. At Unregular, their display alone is a feast for the eyes, perfectly addressing anyone searching for 'vegan donuts bakery display.' You’ll see rows of beautifully crafted pastries, from their indulgent Nutella + Cream Cheese (Vegan) bombolone donuts, which are seriously calling my name for my next visit, to rich vegan pain au chocolat. It's not just about having options; it's about having tempting options that make you forget they're plant-based. The visual appeal, with all those vibrant colors and artful arrangements, makes the decision-making process even more exciting! When exploring 'vegan bakery New York,' I always recommend looking for places that focus on quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. The vibrant offerings at Unregular, like those elegant Rose Petals Croissants and even unique items like Espresso Croissants or 'K Bueno pastries' (which looked incredibly inviting in the display case!), show a real commitment to creativity. It’s such a relief to walk into a bakery and know you have so many delightful choices that cater to your needs, without compromising on taste or experience. It’s not just about grabbing a treat; it’s about enjoying the full bakery experience – the comforting smell of fresh baking, the colorful displays, and the friendly faces behind the counter who are genuinely passionate about their craft. For anyone on the hunt for the best vegan donuts or a delightful plant-based pastry in NYC, places like Unregular Bakery are truly setting the standard. It's amazing how diverse the vegan dessert scene has become. You can satisfy any craving, whether it's for a classic flaky croissant, a rich, cream-filled donut, or something more adventurous with unique flavor combinations. Don't be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations – they often have hidden gems or seasonal specials that aren't immediately obvious. And if you're like me, you'll find yourself planning your next visit before you've even finished your current treat! It’s all part of the fun of discovering truly exceptional vegan finds in this incredible city.
