Boshi boy still has taco kisses to give 🥰
He is totally fine when Waffles is around, but still does not like being touched by him. He is warming up day by day though!
Observing Boshi boy's behavior reminds me how important it is to respect a pet's individual pace when they are still a bit shy or uncertain. Sometimes, certain pets need time to feel comfortable with new friends or even those close to them. Boshi's hesitation to being touched by Waffles shows that even familiar animals may require gradual bonding. In my experience with shy pets, consistent positive reinforcement works wonders. Offering treats or gentle encouragement—like the taco kisses Boshi shares—can build trust. Each small step forward, such as him becoming fine with Waffles around, is a meaningful achievement. It highlights the importance of patience and understanding in pet relationships. Additionally, creating calm environments where animals can interact without pressure often helps reduce stress. Playtime, quiet companionship, and respecting boundaries are key elements I’ve found useful. Boshi’s journey is a lovely example of how gentle interaction and time can help a pet open their heart and give affection in their own unique way.
