📍 Hema Hema

The famous ice cream shop that no matter who goes to Penang, have to stop by and make content. I want to say, "There is really no disappointment." There are about 9-10 flavors available. We asked the staff which is the signature of the store. The staff said that the flavors sold will go around every week, so there is no signature of the store.

- Favorite Highlights: Delicious, with many exotic flavors, big balls, tight, smooth texture. We ordered 7 balls (turquoise monk, I didn't think it would be this big scoop 🥲). After tasting it all, we and our families unanimously voted to like Lotus Biscoff. 😍 Sweet is good. Smells Biscoff. Very sweet. Who can't choose? I recommend this flavor.

📍 Reggae Cafe.

It is a cafe & restaurant opposite the entrance to Armenian Street. Open late and close at midnight. It sells Western food, main dishes, pizza and cakes. The restaurant is very deep. There are a lot of seats. The air is cool. Anyone who has finished walking Armenian recommends crossing the street to recharge here. I would like to say that it is like a Wiman paradise after walking in the sun all day. 😍

- Favorite Highlights (Food): The taste may not be very exotic, similar to normal Western cuisine, but the impression is that 1. The dish is very beautiful, especially the most photogenic sheep dish. 2. Use good things, big shrimp, bounce, soft bass, crispy leather, soft pizza dough, fragrant mushroom soup. 3. This is not a shop, but a special Malaysian dessert menu called Bubur Cha Cha. It is a dessert made only for the Chinese New Year! It happens that we go to the Chinese New Year, so it will be tasted in the hotel buffet line. Anyone who happens to come to Penang during Chinese New Year, don't forget to try it.

- Favorite Highlights: The overall taste of pumpkins is sweet and sweet. There are pumpkins. Soft bananas. Personally, we are not a pumpkin line. Give 4 stars. But if anyone likes this style of Thai dessert, it should be pleasing to Bubur Cha Cha.

📍 Durian Central.

Come on, this will not be a drug sign to follow, but a sample case. The moment opens the first Penang durian experience in our lives, hahahaha. In case anyone wants to try, they will read the decision again.

Chinese people once told us that "Malaysia's Black Thorn durian is the nicest in the world, more delicious than Thai durian." With a desire to prove it, we searched for a place to sell durian in Penang and found this place at first. It looks clean and reliable, so we managed to put it on a plan.

We and our family really wanted to taste the Black Thorn, but unfortunately the store didn't sell 😢, only the Musang King, which we had heard through our ears, where we got there, so we decided to try it.

Which is cheap or expensive, according to the grade. Grade A 70 rm / kg, AA 80 rm / kg, AAA 88 rm / kg, so we made it the most expensive. AAA One! Ajek then weighed it and cut it and took us to sit in the rear air conditioner (there is a glass room on the air conditioner for eating durian especially, Mother!! 😵 is a serious business)

- Highlights of this experience: Musang King, our AAA grade is very tiny, but the price has gone to over 1,000 baht 🫠. The meat is about 4-5 poo. The taste is very cooked, so cooked that the meat is so bitter. Honestly, it doesn't taste right to us. But the other two tables in the room are very enjoyable.

Fortunately, when we sat Grab to check into the school on the first day, talking to the driver about durian, the driver said that Malé people will like to eat very ripe durian like this, unlike Thai people who like to eat very unripe, so it is lucky that we first know that it is a cultural difference, otherwise I would be shocked to think that it will definitely be tricked into selling durian. 🥹

Any other than the taste of durian, we are very impressed with other services. The air conditioner is comfortable. Customers eat intently, quietly, without disturbing each other. On the table there is a tray for shell, seeds, gloves and free tissues prepared. Another Ajek walks to bring a small bottle of empty water for free. This service is very open world. This service shows that people come to the secretary and eat durian really seriously.
