FREE FOOD???
This cute little cafe in the heart of downtown Raleigh is open to the public 6 days a week (closed on Mondays) from 8am-2pm. Easily accessible from the bus route as well for those who don’t have a vehicle. 😊
You can choose to pay the suggested total, volunteer one hour for your meal or pay the less than total of $3 for an entree, and house made pastry, side, or specialty drink.
Today I went with my husband and paid the less than total of $6 for 2 meals & 2 iced coffees.
Our orders if you’re curious:
(Top) Chicken bacon ranch w/ buffalo and ranch ots, bbq chips
(Bottom) Turkey gouda melt w/ side salad, & ranch dressing
Coffee: limited time COCO MOCO (we had already drank some of it, came with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles)
They also have gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options!
Definitely the best and my favorite budget meal with everything on their menu being relatively healthy and satisfying!
💰Price: $3 a meal, or volunteer
⭐️Overall rating: 5/5
