I miss the OLD lunchables!
Okay so I’m pretty big on nostalgia. I can just vividly have something pop into my head and I’m stuck on it, wishing I could go back to a simpler time. Unfortunately, I’m an adult now ( LOL) but I miss being younger ( I’m 26 ) and seeing the variety of LUNCHABLES! Yes, it’s unhealthy but I miss the sodas they had in there. I would TEAR UPPP the hot dog lunchables, YOU HEAR ME?! Idk why I’m JUST NOW really realizing they’re gone 😠I took my time eating those little bastards. It just seems they always take the good stuff away. There’s literally only the nachos, pepperoni or cheese pizza, turkey or ham lunchables along with the crackers and cheese in it OR the turkey and ham ( mind you they don’t give you enough) to make a sandwich along with a block of sliced cheese and bread ( too much for the turkey and cheese)… gross. They need to make a physical store or online store solely for purchasing nostalgic items lmaooo #nostalgicfood #nostalgia #childhoodnostalgia #Lemon8Diary #letschat #relatable
You are absolutely NOT alone! When I saw your post about missing the old Lunchables, it hit me right in the feels. Seriously, why did they have to mess with perfection? As someone who also grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, I completely understand that pang of nostalgia for a simpler time, especially when it comes to our beloved lunchbox staples. I vividly remember the excitement of opening up a Lunchables box. It wasn't just lunch; it was an experience! You mentioned the hot dog Lunchables, and OMG, yes! The Mini Hot Dogs and especially the All Star Hot Dogs were iconic. Who could forget those little buns, the tiny hot dogs, mustard, and sometimes even milk chocolate balls or Sour Patch candy? And they often came with a cola drink or a Capri Sun! It was an absolute treat that made you the envy of the school cafeteria. It felt so grown-up and fun at the same time. The current versions just don't capture that same magic. But it wasn't just the hot dogs. Do you remember the All Star Burgers? Those grilled burgers with mustard and chocolate candy were next level. And what about the Wrapz Grilled Chicken? Those were so cool and felt like a gourmet lunch for a kid. The variety was incredible! I also have fond memories of the ka-bob-bles with popcorn chicken, pretzel sticks, Hershey's Kisses, and a Capri Sun. They were so unique and creative. Even the classic Cracker Stackers felt more generous back then. These weren't just meals; they were little adventures in a box. I think part of the charm of those vintage Lunchables from the 90s and 2000s was the complete package. They often included a real soda or a Capri Sun, and the dessert options were much better. Nowadays, it feels like they've stripped down the options to just the basics – mostly crackers, cheese, and a few slices of deli meat. Where's the fun? Where's the creativity? It's like they've forgotten what made them so special to us as kids. I often wonder why they discontinued so many of those amazing varieties. Was it health concerns? Cost? Whatever the reason, it's a huge loss for our collective childhood memories. The old Lunchables packaging itself even had a certain charm that I miss. It represented a time when convenience food felt like a discovery, not just a quick bite. It makes me wish there was an online store dedicated to bringing back these discontinued Lunchables from our youth. Imagine being able to order a hot dog Lunchables kit right to your door, exactly as you remembered it from the early 2000s! A girl can dream, right? So, if you're also feeling that deep Lunchables nostalgia, know that you're not alone. Let's keep sharing our memories of these incredible, albeit sometimes unhealthy, childhood treasures. What specific old Lunchables variety do you wish they'd bring back for good? I'm genuinely curious to hear what other gems people remember!

Yes!! I do too!! I saw lunchables the other day at the grocery store and realized the don’t look like the used to when I was younger
