Lait de Coco was used as the base to ground the scent—not to smell like coconut, but to add soft creaminess, smooth everything out, and bring a touch of warmth and sweetness.
Blush, with its beautiful raspberry fruitiness, I knew instantly would pair perfectly with Meyhar Silver. At first, I felt like Blush didn’t last very long, but after sitting through the colder months, the performance seems to have improved—and I’m not mad at it. I was still catching it hours later.
Meyhar Silver is such a beautiful scent. It has a tart raspberry note that reminds me of raspberry punch. It’s inspired by Commodity Juice, so if you enjoy that DNA, you’ll definitely love Meyhar Silver.
Lastly, I went in with the Jasmine & Cedarwood oil by Sand & Fog on my pulse points to finish everything off. Not sure how the label ended up half ripped off lol!😂
Layering fragrances is an art that can transform your scent into a unique signature, and in my experience, combining creamy, fruity, and floral notes creates a beautifully balanced aroma that feels both comforting and sophisticated. Starting with Lait de Coco by Le Monde Gourmand as the base adds a soft creaminess without overwhelming the senses with coconut. Its bergamot top note lifts the fragrance, while vanilla and praline in the heart add subtle sweetness that smooths the transition to other layers. I’ve found this base perfect for grounding more vibrant scents, keeping everything warm and smooth. Pairing this with Kenneth Cole Blush brings a burst of raspberry and sugar sweetness combined with delicate orange and pear blossom. Initially, I noticed Blush’s longevity seemed short, but interestingly, in colder weather, it lasts much longer on my skin, lingering pleasantly hours later. The heart floral notes—peony, jasmine, tuberose—create a romantic bouquet that perfectly complements the creamy base. Meyhar Silver from Mamlakat Al Oud, with its tart raspberry and strawberry top notes, adds a unique freshness reminiscent of raspberry punch. The addition of Bulgarian rose and cyclamen in the heart alongside an amberwood and rhubarb base introduces a sophisticated depth. This scent is wonderfully inspired by Commodity Juice, which means if you love fruity yet elegant fragrances, Meyhar Silver will resonate well. Finishing the ensemble with Jasmine & Cedarwood oil from Sand & Fog applied on pulse points not only enhances the floral aspect but also adds a subtle woody warmth, perfect for grounding the brighter fruity notes. This oil’s concentrated application helps sustain the fragrance blend throughout the day. From personal experience, layering is about balance and experimentation. Start light with your base and add layers gradually, giving each scent a moment to settle. Keep in mind environmental factors like temperature, as they can affect fragrance performance. This combination is ideal for those who appreciate sweet, smooth, and elegantly effortless scents that feel like a sun-kissed, creamy hug.
