Earlier this year, I visited my family in Bangladesh for several weeks. During this trip, I specifically went jewelry shopping for my sister’s wedding.
As far as Desi jewelry goes, I had no idea where to start. Luckily, one of my mom’s childhood friends took me to Rapa Plaza in Dhaka. There were a ton of incredible imitation jewelry shops. It was definitely a fun & insightful experience! And yes, a ton of bartering was involved…in typical Desi fashion 😅
