私がいちばん気になっていたのは、窓枠（ドア周りの黒いゴムっぽい部分）とバンパー下部の未塗装樹脂の白化でした。洗車しても「乾くと白く見える」のが地味にストレスで、補修目的で未塗装樹脂コーティングを選びました。 ■施工前にやってよかった下準備（失敗しにくい） 1) まずはしっかり洗車→完全乾燥。水分が残るとムラになりやすいです。 2) 樹脂の溝やシボに汚れが残っていると黒さが均一に出ないので、柔らかいブラシで軽く掻き出しました。 3) 脱脂：私はアルカリ電解水も試しましたが、強く擦ると部分的にムラが出ることがあるので「軽く拭き取り」程度に。心配ならカー用品の脱脂剤を薄く使うのが無難です。 4) ボディ側に付くのが怖い場所（窓枠の際、バンパーと塗装面の境目）はマスキング。これだけで仕上がりが一段ラクになります。 ■塗り方のコツ（“一瞬で黒くなる”を活かす） ・基本は薄塗り→足りない所だけ重ね塗り。最初からたっぷり付けると液だまりができて、乾いた後にスジっぽく見えることがあります。 ・スポンジやアプリケーターに少量取り、一定方向に伸ばしたら、最後に軽くならして境目をぼかすと自然でした。 ・窓枠の細い部分は、塗り込み用スポンジの角を使うと塗装面に触れにくいです。 ■よく比較される製品との“選び方”メモ 店頭だとイエローハットのコーティング口コミを見て迷う人も多いと思います。私は「ベタつかない自然な黒」「耐久（できれば年単位）」「UV対策」を重視しました。モンスター バックオンブラック（モンスターバックオンブラック）系は手軽さが魅力ですが、狙いが“黒さの質感”なのか“手軽さ”なのかで選びやすいです。 ■耐久を伸ばすために気をつけたこと ・施工後はできれば24時間は雨・洗車を避ける。 ・最初の数回の洗車は強いケミカルを控えめに。撥水は残りやすくなります。 ロゴに「Enhance | Keep | Shine」とある通り、狙いは“派手なテカり”より、樹脂本来の黒さを戻して維持する感じ。窓枠の黒い部分補修や、車まるごと未塗装樹脂コートを考えている人は、薄塗り・下準備・マスキングの3つだけでも意識するとかなり失敗しにくいです。
