This was my first time trying banana pudding matcha and I was so excited!! I decided to try Pretty Good Muffins since it was one of the cheaper ones available and I didn’t wanna waste too much money on a mid matcha 🫥
IT WAS SO GOOD!!! my bf and I both loved it!! For $6.90 I think it’s quite a good price if you’re looking to enjoy a small sweet treat. I will say that the drink volume is quite little and the ice to content ratio is quite a bit. Nevertheless, taking a seat at the nearby Hong Lim hawker centre and enjoying it before it gets diluted is the way to go 🤩🤩 loved the banana-ness of the pudding and how there were actual slices of banana and how not sugary sweet it was. I didn’t really combine it too much with the matcha as it would probably have spilt everywhere but enjoying the pudding and matcha separately was still super super good 😌 wow I would give this 4.5 🌟 for the price and taste 🤩🤩🤩
Muffin-wise, there were definitely more expensive flavours but thankfully we were able to get some of the less expensive ones 😅 but having them together with the drink was so good wow I would like that combo everyday ngl 🧁🧁 my fav is the Nutella Sea Salt!! Will be back to try more 😋😋
The queue was not super long too!! I literally had one person in front of me for the matcha and while the muffin queue was longer, it moved super fast so I got both in less than 10 mins 😝 (1.30pm ish on a Saturday)
Overall, I know there were some bad and good reviews but I will say that this to me is worth my trip to Chinatown and I will definitely get them again 😋😋 I get the hype!!!
If you do eat lunch before, you can consider Shanghai Fried Xiao Long Bao , it’s my bf and I’s favourite dumpling place and makes for a nice lunch before this sweet treat!!
