Day 7 of my PTO: Sick but productive
** Playing catch up on the diary **
Day 7 I was still sick as a dog with a stomach bug and could only keep down soup but I’m still pushing forward trying to knock it out. I have noticed my taste buds completely changed and I haven’t been craving any of my favorite foods. My Covid test is negative (thankfully!!). 🙌🏻💕
It was a bummer that I still had the remainder of my brand videos left to do but I put all my focus towards finishing them up before the following week as next week I have an event with Netflix. #squidgames
It took all day but I finished up all my videos and tonorrow day 8 I take my mum to the airport ✈️
Experiencing a stomach bug can be tough, yet staying productive is achievable. While battling a personal health challenge like a stomach virus, focusing on manageable tasks can help maintain a sense of accomplishment. Understand the common symptoms, including nausea, loss of appetite, and fatigue, that accompany stomach issues. It's essential to stay hydrated and consume light foods like soup, which can be comforting. In addition to managing health, it's great to utilize this downtime creatively, as seen with my video projects. Engaging in fulfilling activities, even when feeling unwell, can uplift spirits. Discussions around how to deal with illness while maintaining a busy schedule can be beneficial to others facing similar challenges. Incorporating daily reflections and anticipating future engagements, such as traveling or attending events, also enhances personal well-being. Sharing experiences online fosters community support, which is vital in challenging times. Consider keeping a diary or a digital journal to document feelings and progress, as it can be rewarding and therapeutic.
