I miss my blue hair 💙
It really sucks that in December my month with my blue hair I didn’t really get to do much. I felt so confident with my hair and now it’s gone I don’t feel nearly as beautiful. I’m missing it.
It's funny how a hair color can become such a part of your identity, isn't it? Losing my blue hair truly felt like losing a piece of my confident self. I still remember the thrill of getting it done, picking out that perfect vibrant shade. If you're a girl with blue hair, or a young woman considering taking the plunge, you probably know exactly what I mean. It’s more than just a color; it’s an attitude. For anyone out there looking for blue hair dye ideas, let me tell you, the options are endless and exciting! I initially went for a bold, electric blue, but I've always admired the softer, light blue hair styles I see. Imagine a dreamy pastel blue, almost like a cloudy sky, or a deep, mysterious navy that shimmers in the light. Then there's teal, which offers a beautiful blend of blue and green, perfect for an edgy yet artistic look. When I had my BLUE HAIR, it felt like I was wearing a crown of self-expression every single day. My advice? Don't be afraid to experiment with swatches or even temporary dyes to find your perfect shade. Beyond just the color, the way you style blue hair can really make a statement. I loved experimenting with different light blue hair styles – sometimes sleek and straight to really show off the color, other times voluminous waves that made it look almost ethereal. Braids with blue hair pop beautifully, and even a simple messy bun takes on a whole new vibe. It truly complements an alternative or edgy aesthetic, but I've also seen it look incredibly chic and sophisticated. It just depends on the outfit and your mood! One of the biggest takeaways from my blue hair journey was the incredible confidence boost. There’s something about having such a unique and striking hair color that makes you feel bolder and more authentic. Every time I caught my reflection, or received a compliment, it was a little reminder that it's okay to stand out. If you're on the fence about getting blue hair, think about how it could empower you to express your true self. Of course, maintaining blue hair does require a little love. It's a color that can fade relatively quickly, so investing in color-safe shampoos and conditioners, and maybe even a color-depositing mask, is a must. Cold water washes are your best friend! But honestly, the joy and confidence it brings far outweigh the upkeep. To all the blue hair ladies out there, or those dreaming of becoming one, embrace the magic! It’s a journey of self-discovery and vibrant expression that I wholeheartedly recommend, even if, like me, you find yourself missing it later on.
