My Angel 🦋
I just spent the entire weekend with my grandma(momma) . She was my world . She told me she was not going anywhere when I stated that I was worried about her breathing. She passed away 3 hours after I left . I haven’t really cried yet . I feel like I am in shock or numb . Does it get easier ? I’m lost !! #embracevulnerability #unfiltered#griefjourney #heavenofficialsblessing
Grief is a profound experience that many face, often feeling lost and in shock after a significant loss. It can be helpful to understand that the grieving process is unique for everyone. Many people report experiencing a range of emotions, including sadness, anger, and numbness, which can come in waves. It's essential to give yourself permission to feel these emotions rather than suppress them. Talking about your feelings with others who have experienced loss can foster connection and healing. Support groups, whether online or in-person, can provide a safe space to share your thoughts and receive comfort from those who understand your journey. Additionally, journaling can be a therapeutic way to process your emotions. Writing down your thoughts can help clarify feelings and provide a means of expression when spoken words feel inadequate. As time goes on, many find that while the pain of loss never completely goes away, it can become more manageable. Seeking professional help from a therapist specialized in grief counseling may also be beneficial as it offers guidance tailored to your personal situation. Remember, it’s okay to seek help, and you are not alone in this journey. Healing takes time, and being gentle with yourself during this process is crucial.
