Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Once everything is cooked I transferred the chicken to a sheet pan. I brushed it with more Parmesan wing sauce and broiled for 3-5 minutes to get the skin crispy and Munch!

One tip I’ve learned from my own kitchen adventures is to choose chicken drumsticks with skin on, as the slow cooking tenderizes the meat while preserving moisture. When finished, broiling the chicken for a few minutes really elevates the dish by crisping up the skin and intensifying the garlic parmesan flavors. Adding baby potatoes and chopped onions into the crockpot alongside the chicken allows the vegetables to absorb the rich sauce, making the whole meal cohesive and hearty. You can experiment with seasonings such as Italian herbs, paprika, or a touch of cayenne for a spicy kick. Butter adds creaminess and richness to the sauce, enhancing the overall taste. From personal experience, using a store-bought garlic parmesan wing sauce like Buffalo Wild Wings brand provides consistent flavor, but making your own sauce by mixing butter, garlic, parmesan, and a hint of lemon juice can be equally rewarding and fresher. This recipe is ideal for busy evenings when you want to prep early and come back to a ready-to-eat dinner with minimal fuss. For those interested in meal prep, this dish reheats beautifully and pairs well with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Overall, this recipe is a fantastic combination of ease, flavor, and comfort — a perfect addition to your crockpot rotation!
