2024 brought lots of tears and smiles
Wow, what a whirlwind 2024 has been! My husband officially adopted my two oldest daughters, which was such a joyful moment for our family. But I also faced some tough times, like saying goodbye to my beloved dog after she developed a mass in her lungs—just 24 hours before we had to let her go.
On the brighter side, my oldest daughter got engaged, and soon after, we had her official adoption celebration! And then came her wedding, which was so beautiful. I also made a big change by switching jobs, but unfortunately, I ended up having gallbladder surgery that nearly took a turn for the worse due to an infection.
In other family news, my brother retired from the military, which is a huge milestone! I captured some stunning sky photos throughout the year, and we even welcomed a new puppy into our lives to help brighten things up after losing our dog.
On a challenging note, I got let go from my job, but amidst it all, I’ve seen relationships mend and had a truly blessed Christmas. Honestly, it’s no surprise I’m feeling a bit worn out—it's been quite the ride! But through it all, I've felt God’s presence in so many ways.
