... Read moreBible journaling is a wonderful way to connect with scripture on a deeper level and express your faith creatively. When I started my own Bible journaling journey, I found it incredibly helpful to focus on verses that spoke directly to my personal challenges and victories. For instance, Isaiah 43:18-19, which talks about forgetting the former things and embracing newness, reminds me daily that God is always doing something fresh in my life—even when I can't see it right away. One of the things I love about Bible journaling is the flexibility it offers. You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from it; even simple doodles or handwritten notes next to key verses can make scripture more memorable and heartfelt. Verses like Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” serve as powerful affirmations when placed alongside personal reflections or symbolic drawings. Practicing gratitude is another theme that comes through strongly in my journaling. Drawing inspiration from verses like 1 Thessalonians 5:18, I’ve learned to focus more on gratitude rather than envy or discontentment. This daily practice not only shifts my mindset but also deepens my appreciation for God's blessings. Additionally, journaling about struggles such as healing from past wounds, healthy mindset, and faith-building can enhance emotional and spiritual resilience. Including reminders on self-love, patience, and forgiveness—as reflected in verses like Psalm 141:3 and Romans 8:28—turns journaling into a form of prayer and meditation. Ultimately, Bible journaling has become a personal spiritual practice that combines creativity with scripture study and prayer. I encourage everyone to try it, even if it’s just jotting down a favorite verse with a simple doodle or a brief reflection. It can make your time with the Bible more engaging and transformative, helping you discover new insights and find peace in your faith journey.
