Not everyone should be wished well 🤷🏼♀️ I wish for God to do this thing and that’s his choice.
In my personal experience, I've come to understand that holding healthy boundaries often means not automatically wishing everyone well, especially those who have caused harm. This perspective is not about harboring bitterness but about recognizing the importance of justice and self-respect. Sometimes, wishing someone to see their actions clearly and repent is a more powerful response than blind goodwill. It helps both parties: the wrongdoer gains awareness and a chance for change, while you protect your emotional well-being. In Christian teachings, prayer or wishes to God for others' growth and repentance rather than simple blessings can be an act of tough love. The idea is that true healing comes from acknowledging one's faults and making amends—not from ignoring the damage done. Facing this reality can feel petty or toxic to some, but it is often necessary for personal growth and spiritual alignment. I’ve also witnessed how toxic relationships can drain your energy when you continuously extend goodwill without any reciprocal respect or change. Choosing to wish someone what they deserve—whether that’s peace, growth, or acknowledgment of their mistakes—is an empowering stance. It refuses to enable negative patterns and instead encourages genuine transformation. Ultimately, this approach places faith in a higher power to administer justice and guide change, reminding us that some outcomes are beyond our control. Wishing well is not always about positivity alone but about meaningful accountability and hope for real change.
