Grad Pic Inspo!
I graduated on May 9th with a bachelors of science degree in business administration majoring in accounting! Through my hard work and dedication, I was able to complete this degree in three years instead of the typical four. This was a huge deal to me and my family as I am a first generation college student.
With that being said, I wanted grad pics to cherish forever. I did a lot of research before hand into photographers, outfits, poses, locations, etc.… So here is my tips and tricks!!
1. PHOTOGRAPHER
Don’t be afraid to shop around to find a quote with a photographer that fits your price and also STYLE!! I ended up booking a girl I went to high school with and worked with before (@emilylaurensgallery on IG) and that made all the difference.
2. BRING HELP
I personally had a bag full of different graduation accessories (hat, gown, stokes, etc.) that I was switching in and out with for pics. So having help with that was essential. You typically have a time frame with the photographer. So having assistants help maximize your time as well. Now for my dog, my roomie brought her for five minutes at the beginning of the shoot and then took her home
3. CHAMPAGNE
Champagne pops are an iconic part of any graduation shoot. Buying multiple bottles allow you to have more than one shot. Just in case you didn’t get a good pic the first take. I knew I wanted to do some in front of the bell tower and in the fountain.
Hope this helped!!
