Naked Sundays Review☀️

I’ve been trying Naked Sundays product for over two weeks now, and this is what I have to say about it.

REFRENCE: I have DRY SKIN. And I am quite tan right now.

These are the products I’m reviewing:

💗 Glow Balm Mineral Peptide Stick - “Dusty Rose”

🌅 Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops - “Bronze”

☀️ Beauty Screen Peptide Foundation Tint - “Shade 4”

1) 💗 Peptide Stick 👎 : Great color, but not a fan. It blends out to practically nothing, and when you put more on to get a BIITTT more color it feels like that heavy makeup feel (my full beat doesn’t even feel like this).

2) 🌅 Glow Serum Drops 👍: It does what it’s supposed to do as a serum drop/bronzing drop. I like when I use my mineral sunscreen that has a white cast to give some color back to my face. It blends out well, and it’s not cakey. The color isn’t too warm, so it does not pull orange. And I don’t think would put it all over my face as a regular sunscreen since it won’t be my shade

3) ☀️ Peptide Foundation Tint 〰️: Overall, this is good. I like mixing it with my hydrating sunscreen (not sure if that will make it lose its effectiveness as a sunscreen so take caution). It gives a good tint to my face. I will say the shade range isn’t amazing, but I don’t need it to be perf for my sake. However, using this alone all over the face is not my favorite. I like more lighter coverage tinted sunscreen as I try to put on the recommended amount. And since this is more medium coverage, it’s too much for me also I think you would run out of this quick. When I have tried using this alone, it’s a bit cakey. I notice it mainly around my chin. It does settle is alright throughout the day, but after I set my face with powder as none of these self-set.

I do like that these Naked Sundays’ products are mineral based, so it’s a bit more likely to be kinder to acne-prone skin.

... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my recent Naked Sundays review, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into some questions I know many of you have, especially when it comes to combining makeup with SPF and understanding ingredients like peptides. First off, let's talk about mineral sunscreen – a big topic especially for Naked Sundays. You might be wondering why choose mineral over chemical. For me, with sensitive, dry skin, mineral sunscreens often feel gentler. They work by creating a physical barrier on your skin to block UV rays, using zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. This is a huge plus for those concerned about chemical filters or who have acne-prone skin. What I love about Naked Sundays is how they've made mineral formulas so much more elegant, moving away from the thick white cast of the past. The way the Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops blend in just proves that mineral doesn't have to mean ghostly! Speaking of glow, many of you are probably curious about achieving that perfect SPF coverage with tinted products like their Beauty Screen Peptide Foundation Tint or the Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops. It's tricky, right? My biggest takeaway is that if you're relying on a tinted product for your primary SPF, you really need to apply enough. The general rule of thumb for sunscreen is about two finger lengths for your face and neck. With a foundation tint, it’s easy to under-apply if you’re just using a small amount for light coverage. This is why I often mix my Beauty Screen Peptide Foundation Tint with a dedicated hydrating sunscreen (though, as mentioned previously, always be cautious that this could dilute the SPF if not done correctly). For daily wear and a boost of color, the Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops are fantastic because you can easily layer them for a bronzed look without feeling heavy, as seen in those lovely swatches. Remember, if you're not applying a full SPF amount of a tinted product, make sure you've got a good base layer of a standalone sunscreen underneath! And what about those peptides? Both the Glow Balm Mineral Peptide Stick and the Beauty Screen Peptide Foundation Tint highlight peptides as a key ingredient. Peptides are essentially amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins like collagen and elastin. In skincare, they signal your skin to produce more collagen, which can lead to firmer, smoother skin over time. For someone like me with dry skin, anything that helps with skin barrier health and elasticity is a win! It's great to see these beneficial ingredients incorporated into everyday makeup products, giving you skincare benefits as you wear them. When applying products like the Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops or the Beauty Screen Peptide Foundation Tint, I've found a few tricks. For the serum drops, applying a small amount to the back of my hand and then dabbing and blending onto my face, especially where I want a bronzed effect, works beautifully. The OCR images showing the bronze product blended smoothly are exactly how I aim for it! For the foundation tint, applying it in dots and then blending outwards, as demonstrated in the OCR, gives more control and helps avoid cakiness, especially around problem areas like the chin. And don't forget to set with powder if you're like me and prefer a less dewy finish, as these products don't always self-set. Hope these extra tips help you get the most out of your Naked Sundays products and understand the science behind them a little better!
