Weight loss/ New House/Disneyland!!! 🫶🥰🤍

A lot has happened since I lasted posted here. My weightloss journey has not been going well. I’ve had some set backs things I could control and things I couldn’t. November I took my kids to Disney land and we had a blast I got into that vacation mentality where I figured a few days of no worries would be okay and as much fun as we had it really did set me back. December was busy with Christmas and family parties again my self control was not great. January I bought a house!! And my little family could not be happier all and all things have been very good and we are more than blessed. But I’m going to be real with you I am BIpolar and my BPD has been crazy which I know some of it is this self loathing that I have for my self right now due to my lack of strength and control for my diet. Getting back into a mindset of I got this, I can do this, keep pushing! Has been really hard but I am starting up again and as crappy as I feel about myself I feel good about getting back to the healthier version of myself that I have been craving. Things get hard and no one is perfect but trying is what keeps us close. Mental

Illness is hard, life is hard, being a parent is hard, weight-loss is hard but I believe in me I believe in us and we can and will do this no matter how much time it takes we can make a difference even if it’s small everyday ❤️#healthylifestyle2024 #Lemon8Diary #weightlosstransformation #weightlossmotivation #weightlossjouney #mentalhealth #mentalhealthjourney #embracevulnerability #weightlossdiet #weightlosshealthjourney

Many experience a similar narrative when balancing life changes, such as moving into a new home or overcoming moments of indulgence during family vacations. It's essential to understand that weight loss is not merely a physical endeavor but also a mental one. Emotional factors, like self-acceptance and mental health struggles, play a pivotal role in our motivation and success. Exploring strategies like setting realistic goals, practicing self-compassion, and engaging in community support can significantly aid in achieving a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, being mindful of triggers that lead to setbacks, while celebrating small victories, creates a sustainable path forward. Remember, the journey toward a healthier self is a marathon, not a sprint; every step counts, no matter how small, and it's never too late to start again.
