Power Bank can board, but it has to be done the right way.
Many people misunderstand that "Power Bank cannot be boarded," but the truth is that it can be boarded if the airline and CAAT requirements are followed:
✅ What to do
• Carry on Carry-on only
• Should be stored with the body or in the pouch in front of the seat for easy use in emergencies
• Anti-shorting by storing in the appropriate envelope or box
• Capacity up to 100Wh can be brought on board as usual
• If exceeding 100Wh but not exceeding 160Wh, Airline permission is required before travel.
• Passengers may carry no more than 2 pieces (according to CAAT specifications)
❌ What you can't do.
• Do not load power bank under the machine
• Do not store in overhead luggage compartment
• No charging of power banks on aircraft
• Do not use power bank, phone charging or other equipment during flight
• Do not bring a power bank with no capacity specified (Wh) or unclear information on board
💡 why tighter?
Because lithium batteries, if damaged or short-circuited, can cause high heat, smoke or fire, measures have been enacted to enhance the safety of passengers, crew and flights in accordance with ICAO international standards.
