SELF RESPECT 😊

... Read moreLearning to value yourself is a crucial step toward living a fulfilled and authentic life. From personal experience, adopting the mindset of keeping your distance when not appreciated and declining invitations if you're invited late has helped me maintain my emotional energy and self-worth. I've come to understand that forgiveness is powerful but moving on from betrayal is equally important for inner peace. Setting firm boundaries when feeling used or disrespected has been a game changer. Walking away with dignity rather than engaging in conflict preserves your sense of self. When underestimated, focusing on letting your results speak speaks volumes without the need for confrontation. Reducing access to those who take you for granted, and choosing rest over guilt when emotionally drained, are self-care acts that reinforce your value. I also learned to stay in my lane instead of comparing myself to others, which protects my mental health and boosts confidence. Trusting actions over words has helped me avoid manipulation and the pain of being replaced easily by remembering my worth. These steps not only build self-respect but also create healthier relationships and a stronger, happier you.

I'm homeless, so I know now what forgotten means! I am sure the homeless vets feel the same! Just when I believe things are going my way to get out from under homelessness, just another walk to be hit! So I put my value very low compared to other homeless people, because I do not believe I deserve the help that should be bestowed on the homeless ahead of myself! I pray that God and a Spiritual Being to give myself the strength that positivity I use to have. peace, love, and happiness. Amen 🙏🙏. P.S. Thank you for letting myself vent🙏
